The Under 18 Girls and Boys State Teams will compete in the 2022 LA Under 18 National Championships, Adelaide, South Australia (Friday, 15 April 2022 – Tuesday, 19 April 2022, venue to be advised).

Lacrosse SA actively encourages all interested and eligible girls and boys to register interest for this outstanding developmental opportunity.

TRIAL DATES
Sunday, 21 November 2021, 9.00am – 11.00am – Girls: Brighton Lacrosse Club, Boys: Burnside Lacrosse Club

Wednesday, 24 November 2021, 6.30pm – 8.30pm – Girls: Glenelg Lacrosse Club, Boys: Brighton Lacrosse Club

Sunday, 28 November 2021, 9.00am – 11.00am – Brighton Lacrosse Club

ELIGIBILITY
– MUST BE A REGISTERED MEMBER OF AN AFFILIATED LACROSSE SOUTH AUSTRALIA CLUB.
– MUST BE UNDER 18, BUT AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD, AS AT 1 JANUARY 2022.
– MUST ATTEND 2 OUT OF 3 TRIALS TO BE CONSIDERED.
– MUST NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING FINANCIAL DEBTS WITH LACROSSE SA OR AN AFFILIATED LACROSSE SOUTH AUSTRALIA CLUB.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Selections will occur the week following the last trial with notifications sent to participants prior to Friday, 7 December 2021.

Players selected into the teams must complete the following Lacrosse Australia mandatory training and education:
– Clean Sport 101
– Anti-Doping Fundamentals.
– Anti Doping Annual Update.
– Anti-Doping for Coaches.
– Illicit Drugs in Sport.
– Ethical Decision Making.
+ Starter Course
+ Moral Duty or Team Duty
+ Helping or Dobbing
+ It’s the Fans, Coaches, Sports Fault.
– Introduction to Match Fixing.

Players who have not submitted the application form, or paid the trial fee by COB Thursday, 18 November 2021, will not be eligible to trial.
