The Under 18 Girls and Boys State Teams will compete in the 2023 LA Under 18 National Championships, Perth, WA (Tuesday, 18 April 2023 – Saturday, 22 April 2023, Western Australia (venue to be advised).

 

Lacrosse SA actively encourages all interested and eligible girls and boys to register interest for this outstanding developmental opportunity.

 

TRIAL DATES:

  • Sunday, 18 September 2022, 9.30am – 11.00am – Venue TBA
  • Wednesday, 21 September 2022, 6.30pm – 8.30pm – Venue TBA
  • Sunday, 25 September 2022, 9.30am – 11.00am – Venue TBA

 

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Must be a registered member of an Affiliated Lacrosse SA Club.
  • Must be under 18, but at lease 15 years old, as at 1 January 2023.
  • Must attend 2 out of 3 trials to be considered.
  • Must not have any outstanding financial debts with Lacrosse SA or an Affiliated Lacrosse SA Club.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

Selections will occur the week following the last trial with notifications sent to participants prior to Friday, 7 October 2022.

 

Players selected into the teams must complete the following Lacrosse Australia mandatory training and education:

  • Anti-Doping Fundamentals.
  • Annual Update.
  • Illicit Drugs in Sport.
  • Decision Making in Sport.
  • Competition Manipulation and Sports Betting.

 

Players who have not submitted the application form, or paid the trial fee by COB Thursday, 15 September 2022, will not be eligible to trial.
