Welcome to the 2027 SA Under 18 State Team Registration of Interest Form for Lacrosse SA.
Please note that the dates and location of the 2027 LA U18 Boys and Girls National Championship are still to be advised by Lacrosse Australia, and we are unsure if there will be two divisions.
Lacrosse SA actively encourages all interested and eligible girls and boys to register interest for this outstanding developmental opportunity.
STATEMENT FROM LSA:
Lacrosse Australia is currently undertaking a national review of its tournament structure and broader lacrosse programs. This review may result in changes to the way national championships and other events are organised in future years.
For families new to the U18 State Team program, national championships have traditionally been held at established times of the year (Easter/April for U18s), with state team trials, selections and preparation organised around these events. This has generally allowed families to plan ahead for travel, accommodation and other commitments.
At this stage, there is some uncertainty about whether the existing national championship structure and scheduling will remain unchanged.
Lacrosse Australia had originally anticipated providing further information by the end of September. However, the review has been extensive, and its recommendations require further consideration before any decisions can be made.
We have confirmed directly with Anna, CEO of Lacrosse Australia, that no decisions have been made regarding proposed changes, and no timelines have been established for their implementation.
This means that families registering for U18 trials should be aware that the timing, format or structure of future national events may be subject to change. However, no changes have been confirmed at this stage.
We believe it is important to communicate this uncertainty before families commit to the trial process, particularly those participating for the first time.
We will continue to share updates as information becomes available from Lacrosse Australia.
Trial Dates:
Sunday, 15 November 2026 – 9am – 11am – North Adelaide Lacrosse Club
Sunday, 29 November 2026 – 9am – 11am – Barratt East Fields 1 & 2
Sunday, 6 December 2026 – 9am – 11am – Barratt East Fields 1 & 2
ELIGIBILITY:
– Must be a registered member or an affiliated Lacrosse South Australia Club.
– Must be 15 years old the day prior to the first day of the event.
– Must not have any outstanding financial debts with Lacrosse SA or Affiliated Lacrosse South Australia Club.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
Due to the unknown aspects of the tournament, selection will be made once final information regarding the tournament is announced.
Players selected into the teams must complete the following Lacrosse Australia mandatory training and education:
– Anti-Doping Fundamentals.
– Annual Update.
– Illicit Drugs in Sport.
– Decision Making in Sport.
– Competition Manipulation and Sports Betting.
Players who have not submitted the application form, or paid the trial fee by COB Friday, 13 November 2026, will not be eligible to trial.
