The Under 15 Girls (and Boys) Tournaments will be held at Altona Lacrosse Club, Victoria, Sunday, 30 September – Saturday 6 October 2018.
This is a wonderful opportunity for officials to gain much needed experience at a National Event and learn their craft from knowledgeable Umpires from around Australia.
If you are currently umpiring at least U-15 level and have successfully completed the ALA Theory Exam, we need you to seriously consider this offer and submit your EOI. Even if you have previously attended an U-15 Tournament, this could be more beneficial given your earlier experiences.
Additionally if you have been Umpiring at a senior level and wanting to take the next level as a Technical Delegate (TD) this could be the ideal step for you.
Please note the Tournament commences the day after the AFL Grand Final so accommodation, transport/flights should be booked ASAP to avoid increased charges closer to the event.
Through ‘Cost Sharing’ arrangements amongst the States, the actual travel cost for each Official is covered by ALA, but again the sooner, the better.
Registrations should be submitted by 15th August 2018 for assessment and notification made to the successful Officials for travel and accommodation to be made.
